President Obama’s statement here from Quincy, IL really cuts to the heart of what this is about — not making sure companies follow the law or that Wall Street is properly policed, but that, as he says, “at a certain point, you’ve made enough money.”

(The Obamas, of course, earned $5.5 million in 2009, not counting the $1.4 million Nobel Prize, which was donated to charity.)

I do not remember hearing anything when Michelle’s salary at Univ of Chicago Med Center wnet from $100,000 to $300,00, after he got elected to Illimois State Senator.

I am all for legal immingration. I have worked along the boder and the wars you see in Mexico are real and spilling over into the USA. Our Gov Jan Brewer had to do what she did because the Federal Government (Obama) will not give her the decency of a reply. Phoenix has become the #1 city for abductions and Atlanta the #1 for Drugs. Drugs are brought in through the border states and transported to Atlanta for shipment. Please tell the Obama administration to do their Costitutional duties.

Chinese central bank official said yesterday, it is getting harder for governments to buy United States Treasuries because the US’s shrinking current-account gap is reducing supply of dollars overseas. Chinese officials generally are very careful about commenting on the dollar and Treasuries.
