Hospital’s decision on Levy faces AG review
Beth Israel Deaconess sought scrutinyBy Liz Kowalczyk
Globe Staff / May 14, 2010
Paul Levy was fined $50,000 for showing poor judgment in his relationship with a former female employee.
The Massachusetts attorney general’s office said yesterday that it will review whether the board of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center appropriately handled a “lapse of judgment’’ by its chief executive, Paul Levy, and whether charitable funds were misspent because of a personal relationship he had with an employee.

Internet giant Google today was hushing up the new dispute over President Obama’s strange Social Security number by diverting searches for news reports on the issue to unrelated stories about Elena Kagan, oil, Tampa and the Federal Reserve.
The actual story, posted on WND.com, explained how two private investigators – working independently – are asking why Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in the state. President may have to trim billions to meet $1 trillion ceiling.
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has released its final price tag for health care reform, and it’s at least $115 billion more than projected. Much of that is due to authorizations for discretionary spending put in the legislation by those drafting the bill.
The Obama administration said it would cap spending on the initiative at $1 trillion over 10 years. The new numbers would break that unofficial promise.
Jennifer Hing, a spokeswoman for Republican members of the House Appropriations Committee, said the president has a responsibility to his constituents to keep that promise.

This is an excellent article, however, I initially forgot to include the URL. I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused,
Please, let us stop this usury! – Nehemiah 5:10
It’s been a wild couple of weeks—increasing unemployment, Greek debt crisis, yet another ridiculous bailout, pressure on Goldman Sachs, accusations of commodities manipulation by JP Morgan Chase, and new freakish levels of market volatility that might be signaling the next phase of market collapse. The many day-to-day issues can leave us dazed and confused, so most people ignore them. Huge mistake — you may read the rest of this story at http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/23067

LONDON (May 11) — David Cameron was this evening named Britain’s new prime minister by Queen Elizabeth II, less than an hour after Gordon Brown resigned as the country’s leader. Cameron’s appointment marks the end of 13 years of rule by Brown’s center-left Labour Party, which came second in last week’s general election to Cameron’s center-right Conservatives.
Standing outside No. 10 Downing St. with his wife, Samantha, Cameron, 43, paid tribute to his predecessor.
“Before I talk about [the] new government, let me say something about the one that has just passed,” the Conservative leader said. “Compared to a decade ago, this country is more open at home and more compassionate abroad, and that is something we should all be grateful for. And on behalf of the whole country, I would like to pay tribute to the outgoing prime minister for his long record of dedicated public service.”

Did you hear the Congressman get an answer? Wasn’t line item veto part of his campaign pledge? Did you hear obama say he spoke to Peter Orszag? Obama can never answer Paul and I will post his conversation with Orszag.
