Today is Thanksgiving.  We in the USA have many reasons to thank God.  We live in a country with such bountiful beauty, such an abundance of natural resources, such heritage from our ancestors, and such security. 

This last year showed such an incredible assault on our heritage and our security by our government that millions of normal Americans turned to the streets in tea party groups and other acts of defiance.   

One of those assaults was the healthcare "insurance" legislation passed by a government that was out of touch with the mainstream people of the USA.  During the elections of 2008, those same politicians said that they would pass legislation that would help the 36 million people who could not afford "healthcare" and pass legislation that would help reduce the costs of "healthcare" for all Americans.  In reality, those 36 million people already had access to free healthcare if their income was below $80,000 per year and this legislation has increased costs for less healthcare for the average American. 

What did we get?  This government gave us "insurance" legislation instead of “healthcare” legislation.  This legislation unconstitutionally mandates that all Americans must purchase health "insurance."  Those who have low incomes will be given help at making such purchase, but all Americans must purchase “insurance” 

Those things that would reduce the costs of healthcare were left out of this legislation and no additional people receive "healthcare" because of it.  So who benefits from this legislation?  Healthcare institutions and insurance companies. 

Healthcare institutions benefit because they receive payments from insurance companies for those who normally would be treated for free under federal government programs.  That increases the revenue for healthcare providers. 

Insurance companies benefit because this legislation does not break up state legislated monopolies and it provides more mandated customers to those insurance companies.  It gives insurance companies the ability to charge higher rates and/or provide lower benefits.  The profits for insurance companies will soar for quite some time because of this legislation. 

Some people claim that this legislation provides some benefits to us normal Americans.  Our kids can be carried on our insurance until they are 26 (this just helps our children remain irresponsible a lot longer .. and irresponsibility of younger people is already a big problem in the USA).  Insurance companies cannot eliminate anyone for pre conditions, but this comes with a price.   

The Kiplinger Letter of November 19, 2010 states that insurance premiums have increased 27% over the last 5 years (about 5% compounded per year).   Because of this "insurance" legislation, insurance premiums paid by employees will increase 14% this year.  The Kiplinger letter goes on to say that many companies are:

1.  only offering health savings accounts.  They are dropping their comprehensive insurance coverage and replacing it with only catastrophic insurance with health savings accounts for employees.

2.  helping lower paid employees with payments and then charging more to those who make more.

3.  "Dropping copays to 10% for those who go to first tier doctors and hospitals and raising them to 40% – 50% for patients who go out of network."

4.  "Setting premiums based on how many individuals are covered so big families with more children pay higher premiums."  (Doesn’t that kinda negate insuring children until they are 26?)

5.  "Dropping coverage for spouses or covering them at a lower percentage."

6.  Increasing premiums for unhealthy behavior. 

7.  "Eliminating dental and vision coverage."

8.  "Increasing copays for specialists."

9.  "And ending retiree healthcare coverage."

All of this is allowed under this new healthcare "insurance" legislation.  Unions, government employees and other select groups are even exempt from it.  

So let me ask these questions again:  How does this legislation provide any additional healthcare to those 36 million people who did not have healthcare insurance?  How does this legislation decrease the costs of healthcare for us Americans for the same amount of healthcare coverage? 

The only ones who benefit from this unconstitutional legislation are healthcare providers and insurance companies.   Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, and Dodd made good on all that money that they received from insurance companies and healthcare providers for their campaigns. 

While we Americans have much to thank God, this current government and this “insurance” legislation are not part of it.

The yield on treasury bills dropped to their lowest yield on record after the Fed did its $600 Billion trick last week … much like what happened in Japan in the 90s … and Japan has still not recovered. The problems of decreasing internal demand for products and housing that is caused by negative population growth of 30 and 40 years ago cannot be cured with financial programs. Stock prices are increasing because bond yields, treasury yields, interest rates, are falling … not because of a better economy. What will happen to stock prices, pension funds, 401 K accounts, when interest rates increase again? Look at Japan and Europe as the examples. The Fed is causing even bigger problems for the future with its current manipulations. The only ones who win are on Wall Street … big donors to Obama in 2008.

Obama called on Republicans in his Saturday radio address to compromise, join his team, on implementing change … when it has been the Democrats who have not compromised or included the Republicans since 2007 when they took control of Congress. He said that America wants his agenda, and that people are just frustrated with the economy, but not his agenda.

Boehner says that Republicans were elected on Nov 2 to stop the Obama agenda, cut the size of government, cut spending, and repeal the “insurance” bill. He said that government is accountable to the voters and the voters were clear in their message. He encouraged Obama and Democrats to join the Republican effort to do the will of the voters.

Obama says that he wants to cut government spending but he also says that he does not want to cut taxes as much as Republicans because he needs the taxes to offset spending for his programs (huh?).

Note the size of the entourage going to India … the press coverage is incredible. Obama claims that he is going to India to open up new markets for American goods … goods that cost 3 times more to make in the USA than what they cost to make in Asia. The only goods that the USA makes that are not available at substantially cheaper prices in Asia are military weapons. So is Obama planning to help sell military weapons to Asia? Or does he plan on selling them a few of our surplus lawyers and defeated Democrats?

Keith Olbermann of MSNBC got caught using bias as a journalist … using his position to affect the outcome of elections. All of NBC is biased. NBC is owned by GE. Jeff Immelt, CEO of GE, visits the White House almost as much as George Soros. GE was the biggest corporate recipient of stimulus money.

The UN and George Soros are calling for increased global taxes. And Obama is in agreement with most of those proposed additional taxes.

Obama wants to eliminate some items from the healthcare “insurance” bill. He is using compromise with Republicans as the reason, but in reality, he does not want the courts to strike the whole thing down because of some potential Constitutional problems. So Obama is now willing to cut out some things that might make it vulnerable … like the fact that it is “mandatory” … and he does not want the House to push through a repeal that will force a showdown that will put more pressure on Democrats and himself for the 2012 elections.

AARP, the biggest proponent of the healthcare “insurance” bill, is raising its rates because of increased costs caused by the ‘insurance” bill. Kiplinger points out that all insurance companies are using the “insurance” bill as justification to raise rates. Soon insurance companies will use the bill as justification to cut benefits. Higher rates, more mandated customers, lower benefits … Insurance company profits will continue to soar. Insurance companies are the beneficiaries of the “insurance” legislation, not the American public. And insurance companies gave 3 times more money to Obama than they gave to McCain.

The 9th Federal Court is allowing foreign countries to enter briefs in the Arizona immigration case against the Arizona law to show how restraints on illegal immigration to the USA harm their countries. So while Americans do not have standing to question the citizenship of Obama, foreign countries have standing to criticize laws in the USA. What is wrong with these judges? What standing do foreign countries have in USA courts? What do those countries do with illegal immigrants who cross their borders?

The Democrat party had the largest amount of losses in the Federal and in the State elections since the losses of the Republican party in 1932. The Democrat losses in 2010 at the State level were even larger than the Republican losses in 1932.

The American people have rejected this corrupt government of Democrats and Barrack Hussein Obama.

So … will the Republican House ask for proof of Obama’s citizenship before the next election? Will it subpoena his college applications, his passports, and his long form birth certificate since the Democrat House did not do this job before the last election? The Democrat controlled House vetted McCain’s citizenship, but not Obama’s. So will this Republican controlled House vet Obama’s documents for the 2012 election?

The stage is set of the People vs. Obama. We are about to see how much the Republican party represents we the people in this fight to save our Constitution and America.

None of our political leaders are discussing these root causes to the problems of our economy:

1. The percent of people between 40 and 55 years old is decreasing.

2. The purchase of foreign oil is draining 5% of our economy each year.

3. Manufacturing is decreasing as a percent of GDP.

The negative impact of each of these is documented in my book, Save America Now. Our politicians are not addressing these root causes to our economic problems. Instead, they are implementing programs that waste money with no results at creating jobs.

Representatives and Senators argue that the total population of the USA has increased, so the reduced birth rates of 1970 to 1985 should not be impacting our economy. Many of them state that the tremendous amount of immigration in the last 30 years should have corrected the decreased birth rates. They deliberately allowed immigration to replace the loss of births to our US citizens without telling us that they were doing it.

Their actions caused damage to our American culture and to our economy.

Why didn’t the politicians tell us that the low birth rate would harm America? Because it was politically incorrect. Feminists and intellectuals were pushing zero population growth.

So instead, the 3rd World countries kept multiplying while the white industrialized populations decreased as a percent of the total population. In just 50 years, the white population in the world, which is mostly in industrialized countries, decreased from one quarter of the total to less than 10% while the total population more than doubled. The white industrialized population stagnated while the rest of the world increased more than 100%. And that affects everything in the USA from less demand for products, to less Social Security revenue per retiree, to increased average healthcare costs per person, to less homeland security. All growth in the USA for the last 40 years is from immigration and its offspring.

The increased demand for housing from baby boomers drove the economy from the 1980s until 2007. 2007 is the same year that the average age of baby boomers pushed past 55 years old. And since those baby boomers did not have enough children to replace them, demand for housing is falling apart which is causing sales of furniture, appliances, etc. to also fall apart.

In addition, T Boone Pickens pointed out in 2008 that $700 Billion leaves the USA every year to purchase foreign oil. That is more than 5% of our annual GDP. Our energy needs are growing 40% in the next 10 years. So, even if the USA grows its use of alternative energy by 20 times in the next 10 years, it will not even cover the increased demand for energy. Therefore, alternative energy will certainly not make a dent in the $7 Trillion that will be spent on foreign oil in the next 10 years (1/2 of our total economy).

So why aren’t the politicians telling us the truth that even the most optimistic development of alternative energy sources will not make a dent in the outflow of capital from the USA for foreign oil? Why aren’t they telling us that the only way to stop the outflow of capital is to drill for more oil, build nuclear facilities, and mine for more coal while developing alternate energy sources? Because they are either traitors or they are stupid. You be the judge. Who benefits from the outflow of cash for oil? Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Mexico, Russia.

These politicians also know that conservation will not work. If the USA reduces consumption, that will also reduce production of goods which will reduce manufacturing jobs.

And just like with negative population growth and foreign oil purchases, the loss of manufacturing is killing the USA. As a percent of GDP, manufacturing has decreased an astounding 70% in the last 50 years.

These same politicians point out how services have replaced manufacturing. But how does replacing the manufacturing industry with a service industry help increase exports and reduce our trade deficit? Do they expect the USA to correct the trade deficit by trading CPA time, or legal advice, or teachers, or government employees for the goods that we now buy from foreign countries? Do they think that the tiny economic multiplier effect from services can replace the huge multiplier from the manufacturing supply chain in our economy?

So why aren’t politicians attacking the manufacturing problem? Because none of them want to offend their political bases by attacking the reasons why manufacturing is leaving the USA:

1. The USA only graduates ¼ of the engineers per capita as compared to Asia while having the highest cost per student in the world.

2. The taxes on manufacturing companies, especially when the taxes of the complete supply chain are considered, are astronomical as compared to other industrialized countries.

3. Labor costs are more than 2 times those in Asia, South America and parts of Europe.

4. The market in the USA is not growing as fast as in countries that do not practice zero population growth.

Instead of tackling the problems of a negative birth rate, foreign oil, and the loss of manufacturing; our government is imposing programs that harm us even more … like mandatory health “insurance,” cap and trade, the GM union bailout, pension fund bailouts, teacher bailouts, bank bailouts, abortion funding, alternative sex education, gay marriage, tax penalties on married people, more government employees, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. And all of these programs continue to harm our culture and our economy. They continue to reduce the intrinsic birth rate, increase our dependency on foreign oil, and chase manufacturing out of the country.

So why do politicians ignore these root causes? Because their political survival is more important to them than what is actually good for America. They pander to banks, unions, feminists, insurance companies, foreign governments, teachers, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc. who are the very ones who are killing our economy.

Time is running out. So, what are we going to do about it? Our Declaration of Independence states:

governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government,

Time is running out. The survival of the USA depends on instituting a new government this November that will address these three root causes. Otherwise, this great experiment called “America” could be finished.
