Fellow Conservative,
Just as we thought, Obama has filed a lawsuit against the State of Arizona to have its new illegal immigration enforcement law ruled unconstitutional! Why? Old-fashioned election year politics. Obama wants to get the liberal Hispanic base worked up for Democrats because he knows they’re heading towards disaster this November. This was after he told Arizona Senator John Kyl he wouldn’t crack down on the border because then "you all won’t have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform", (AKA "amnesty"). (Stand with Arizona and join the campaign to Stop Amnesty) In other words, he’s willing to put Arizona’s border security in jeopardy for political gain. Let your members of Obama and your members of Congress know how you feel about this issue. Let them know that you stand for enforcing our immigration laws – not ignoring them. Let them know that you stand with Arizona and against amnesty. Click here and sign our online petition and then pass it on to a friend. You can also use our action fax service and contact your members of Congress in bulk. You can reach both senators and your representative, all members of your delegation, or even all Democrats or Republicans of the House or Senate – all at once. But whatever you do, speak out and tell them to enforce our laws! Sincerely, Drew McKissick Conservative Outpost

LONDON (May 11) — David Cameron was this evening named Britain’s new prime minister by Queen Elizabeth II, less than an hour after Gordon Brown resigned as the country’s leader. Cameron’s appointment marks the end of 13 years of rule by Brown’s center-left Labour Party, which came second in last week’s general election to Cameron’s center-right Conservatives.
Standing outside No. 10 Downing St. with his wife, Samantha, Cameron, 43, paid tribute to his predecessor.
“Before I talk about [the] new government, let me say something about the one that has just passed,” the Conservative leader said. “Compared to a decade ago, this country is more open at home and more compassionate abroad, and that is something we should all be grateful for. And on behalf of the whole country, I would like to pay tribute to the outgoing prime minister for his long record of dedicated public service.”
