THE PINK PAGODA by Jim Garrow is the compelling, compassionate story of one man’s determination to save baby girls in China, one child at a time. Today, the number of girls he has saved from gendercide brought about by China’s one-child mandate is over 40,000. Given that Dr. Garrow has been doing this for eleven years and is himself only 60, one can only speculate as to how large that number could become during his lifetime.

The term guanxi is central to how Dr. Garrow accomplishes what he does. The concept of carefully nurtured relationships and connections dates back to medieval China, and is what drives life in China, at all levels – from the simple peasant to the President of China. Garrow is a master of guanxi, and one of the most highly respected people in China.
His story combines his impish humor with the horrors of what he has encountered in China, more adventure than apologia. He is at the core an ordinary man doing extraordinary work under the guidance of God.

The Ice Man Ain’t Coming

America can’t create the Ice Man and Milk Man economy of old. Globalism has robbed America of main street retailing, manufacturing, and all ancillary jobs. The globalist have opened America’s borders to illegals who now do all the farm and housekeeping cheaper than slavery, (See Rick Perry’s Texas). Once the infrastructure and airports pipe dreams die, we will face the music that China has got our goat. The Democrat, The Republican, and The Tea Party is a three-winged bird that won’t fly and a three-legged dog that won’t hunt. If you think our future lies in either of them, suicide is a far better option. “America has turned her back on God, and now she must turn back to God.” Turn not to Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, or the Catholic Church, but to God; she must turn (II Chronicles 7:14), and release truth from the prison of political correctness.

(CNSNews.com) – In a “candid and constructive” human rights dialogue with officials from the People’s Republic of China last week, Obama administration officials brought up Arizona’s new immigration-enforcement law, telling the Chinese Communists it was an example of a “troubling trend” in the United States and an indication of “discrimination or potential discrimination” in American society. (No one in his administration has read the law – Andrew?)

Ironically, the State Department’s most recent report on human rights in China indicates that the government there restricts the internal travel of its own citizens.
