President Obama is going to lose his bid for re-election. Not just because of the anemic recovery, stubborn unemployment, runaway spending, staggering deficits, lack of public faith in his ability as commander-in-chief, his hostility towards Israel’s government, the rise of the Tea Party, or the Republican-favoring implications of redistricting on the electoral map. Those are all factors, and the coming months will provide endless columns discussing each. (Of this I am sure, for I intend to write some of them.)

But there is a more fundamental reason he’ll lose: Barack Obama, once perceived as extraordinary, now just seems extra-ordinary. He has gotten politically boring. And America does not re-elect boring presidents.

Obama isn’t boring in the same conventional, square, policy-wonk manner of so many other politicians; he still acts cool, plays basketball, and parties with Hollywood’s A-list. But as a president he has become boring: he is tiresome, unpersuasive, divisive, repetitive, predictable, and cynical — importantly, the opposite of everything advertised himself to be.

Somewhere along the way, the once-soaring speeches of The Great Orator degenerated into longwinded clichés delivered in a grating, repetitive cadence. The electric smile morphed into a frequent scowl. Inspiring messages have given way to blaming everyone else for the lack of success of his policies and scolding his subjects for not “stepping up their game.” His every word seems politically calculated rather than anchored by principle. He’s shown little ability to electrify, motivate, persuade or unify anyone-except his political opposition. The country seems tired of him.

How un-motivating is Obama as President? He speaks to an America at war and rouses no patriotism. He addresses a military audience without so much as mentioning victory (a word to which he has a particular aversion). He takes a major policy address on troop levels in Afghanistan and ends up droning on about “green jobs.” Boring. If there is a single memorable line from his multitude of speeches, please tell me; I already stopped listening –and I doubt that I am alone.

Internationally, his tenure has been demeaning. His unique contributions to American foreign policy include “Leading from behind;” embracing a gutless philosophy of American Un-exceptionalism; serial apologizing for America; and subjecting America to well-deserved lectures on economic policy by our Communist Chinese financial overlords. And it’s not as if any of this has endeared America to the world; from the Thames to Tel Aviv to Taiwan to Turkey, alliances are frayed. Is this anything for voters to be excited about? What does Obama’s America stand for, anyway?

Political cynicism may be expedient, but seeing it repeatedly is boring. Being in favor of tax increases during a recession, before being against them, before being for them again is boring. Advocating breathtaking spending increases as economic “stimulus” and then blaming others for the resulting ballooning deficits is boring. Constant posturing is boring. Constant excuses are boring.

What is surprising is that Obama’s entire election was based on his uniquely un-boring image and ability to excite, motivate and inspire. Young. Hip. Black. Fresh. Cool. Confident. Different. Above-the-fray. And he delivered motivating speeches with a religious rhythm that enraptured his listeners.

From the fainting fans at his rallies to the panting panelists on the Nobel committee, candidate Obama’s rousing rhetoric tapped into something optimistic and hopeful, capturing the attention of the world. It may have all been childishly utopian — stopping the rise of the oceans, burnishing America’s international popularity by sheer force of his personality, ushering in a post-partisan political era, — but his magical message resonated. Obama was all promise.

But something happened since the campaign. Time passed. Reality intruded. The magic faded. The promise was broken. We got to know him.

As president, Obama is prickly and thin-skinned. He is preachy and condescending. He is self-absorbed, self-pitying, self-absolving, self-crediting, and self-aggrandizing. Watching him is more depressing than uplifting. He is exactly what he promised not to be: just like any other ordinary, boring politician.

Oh, fawning media still serve as Obama’s enablers, singing his praises no matter how poorly he performs. But voters — especially the young — are fickle, if not always discerning. One of the hazards of being elected as a “rock star” president is that whoever is momentarily “hot” is unlikely to remain so four years later. Perhaps Obama is the Menudo President, the Britney Spears of politics. And America has outgrown its infatuation.

Presidents Ford, Carter, and George H.W. Bush have two things in common: they were dull; and they were defeated in re-election bids. And Presidents Reagan, Clinton and George W. Bush? One may argue about their policies or legacies, but they certainly weren’t boring; and they were all re-elected.

In general, the more boring candidate loses; Ford, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Bush (father), Dole, Gore, Kerry…the names alone make my eyes droop almost as fast as listening to yet another Obama Major Policy Address.

A dull, uninspiring candidate may get elected once, especially if facing an even more boring opponent — note Carter over Ford or Bush over Dukakis. But re-election? Not in this generation.

When a messianic figure is revealed to be all too ordinary, it is impossible for even the best political consultants to restore the original image. Think of the scene in “The Wizard of Oz” when the unmasked “wizard” bellows, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!” The curtain has been pulled back on Obama, and we see that he is no wizard. As a mere mortal, how can he re-create the magic spell of 2008?

It’s not as if no one will vote for him. Obama still owns key constituencies: blacks, unions and, most importantly, the media. But there’s a difference between getting votes, and getting out the vote: it is the difference between losing and winning. And it will be difficult to get out the vote this time around for someone as ordinary — as boring — as Barack Obama.

This is the third in a series of continuing articles aimed at exposing the “OBOTs” – radical supporters of Barack Obama dedicated to disrupting people who question Obama’s eligibility to be president.

NEW YORK – A top Democrat, apparently operating with the full approval and cooperation of the president, has been directing a team of up to 100 who are paid to publish disinformation on a wide variety of websites to discredit “birthers,” according to anti-Obama researchers.

The radical supporters of the president, known as Obama robots, or “OBOTs” for short, have confirmed their White House-appointed ring leader is Democratic Party operative James A. Johnson, the former chairman of Fannie Mae.

Initially, the OBOTs attempted to mask their Internet identities by posting under usernames with avatars that suggest their personalities. But due largely to the efforts of anti-Obama researchers, including “birthers” vilified by the OBOTs, the true identities of key OBOT operatives have been revealed.

Remarkably, key OBOT operatives, including possibly Johnson himself, have tended over time to self-identify. Two OBOT usernames – “NeonZX” and “JimBot” – may have been usernames Johnson himself created to cover his tracks.

If “NeonZX” and “JimBot” are James A. Johnson, a link will have been established between the Obama White House at the topmost levels and a highly organized disinformation campaign, most likely financed by taxpayer funds. The campaign has been aimed at anyone who challenges Obama’s eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution.

WND contacted Johnson’s office for comment, but Johnson did not reply.

Ed Hale, the Texas-based creator of Plains Radio, has told WND that Johnson, posting on various OBOT websites under the username “JimBot,” managed for the White House some 100 paid operatives around the country. Their primary job was to attack, refute and publish disinformation on any prominent “birthers.”

Something is wrong with Barack Obama. We all know it. We all see it. When he speaks about America, Americans cringe. There is a strangeness to his manner, an unease when he talks about America. He appears awkward and uncomfortable. His speech seems performed and practiced yet, oddly halting. It’s reminiscent of American POW’s in Vietnam or Iraq reading a forced confession. His eyes, expressions, and vocal tone are disconnected from his words. The words themselves often sound American, but the delivery is clinical and detached. His attempts at patriotic sentiment ring hollow and phony. “Once again, with feeling!” is how Americans are left feeling. He just doesn’t seem right. He doesn’t seem like, well…one of us.

Before anyone “goes there” and makes accusations of racism, this is about a pervasive, nagging, national perception that Barack Obama does not intuitively understand or appreciate America or Americans. Not our past. Not our present or future. He just doesn’t act or sound like an American. In fact, there are good reasons and ample evidence for why.

For many of us, “being an American” was a normal part of our collective upbringing. We learned it in school. We said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning right alongside our teachers. Even in liberal Southern California the day began with the Pledge often followed by singing “God Bless America” or “America the Beautiful.” Annual “Flag Ceremonies” were held with quotations from the Declaration of Independence and patriotic songs performed by the student body, in public, for parents and passersby to enjoy. There were even songs that mentioned God. Christmas was celebrated, in school. It was understood that God was integral to the founding of America and that The Creator was the true source of our liberties. Schools reinforced parental authority, being a good citizen, and responsibility to God. Religion was never preached or taught, but it was also never denigrated and never censored.

Public school teachers and administrators modeled patriotism for their students. It was part of growing up in America. Honoring America. Being an American. The 4th of July was a community celebration. We stood with parents, neighbors, and friends and together celebrated America. We learned early on to revere the Stars and Stripes. The Flag was sacred. Many of our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and brothers had fought for it in wars past and were fighting for it in Vietnam. Many had died and would die for the American Flag and the people and ideals it represented. We saw the sacrifices on the nightly news with continual pictures of dead American soldiers and the daily “body count” recited.
From the World War II Generation to those who lived and fought through Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan today’s Americans are those who know, all too well, the price of freedom. Our children and grandchildren witnessed the attacks of September 11, 2001. The memory of distraught parents, difficult dinnertime conversations, and the ensuing War on Terror shaped their youth and young adult years.

These and many other shared experiences before and since have created generations of Americans who cherish this land, this idea that is America. They do so with heart and soul. Standing on cue they remove their hats, place their hands over their hearts or salute, and then choke back the tears as the Star-Spangled Banner is played. They are Americans within the very fiber of their being.

Naturalized citizens often display this same love of country, for many have escaped oppressive regimes or economic hopelessness to come to America and be adopted as America’s sons and daughters. They came seeking their American Dream, the freedom and opportunity to build a better life for themselves and their families. There’s a common, deep, and intimate connection that Americans feel for their country. The soul of America is maintained in the hearts of its people, fiercely loyal to the vision of our Founders and the ideas and precepts of our founding documents.

These same kinds of experiences did not shape the young Barack Obama. His mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was an atheist and politically extreme. At the age of 6 the future president was ushered off to Indonesia where he attended school registered as a Muslim, recited the Quran in Arabic, and learned how to be a good Muslim. In these studies, he would have learned that all non-Muslims were infidels worthy of deception and ultimately, death. Christians and Jews were the enemy. Despite what Obama may say, the United States remains a Christian nation with a strong Jewish population and deep ties to Israel. Judeo-Christian principles helped form and continue to influence our national identity with many signers of the Declaration of Independence having been clergy or devout Christians. America remains home to the largest Christian population in the world. What bigger infidel could there be than America?

Obama’s teen years were spent living with his maternal grandparents on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. There he met a family friend, communist, purported pedophile, and his eventual mentor, the radical poet Frank Marshall Davis.
Obama’s connections to radical leftists are numerous and well-known. He’s admitted to attending socialist meetings and participated in a rally organized by the Democratic Socialists of America. In 1996, he sought and received the endorsement of the far left group The New Party. He has worked with, supported, and attempted to shield from investigation the group ACORN which was recently convicted of massive voter fraud. Obama’s White House is chock-full of radical leftist, anti-American advisors. As a 20-year attendee at Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama was steeped in Black Liberation Theology which is rooted in the collectivist philosophy of Karl Marx. Marx’s most oft-quoted excerpt from his work “Critique of the Gotha Programme” seems to foreshadow the future President Obama’s stated belief in wealth redistribution: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

The reason that Americans feel unease when Barack Obama talks about America is that he is talking about a different America. His words are carefully chosen and crafted to sound American, but the hidden meaning is much more malevolent.

His goal is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” into a nation where social justice reigns and injustice is counted as fairness and equity. He seeks a nation of redistribution where those who succeed through hard work, honest enterprise, financial investment, time, energy, and risk are rewarded with government confiscation of the fruits of their labor. His is a country where communication systems, travel corridors, and private property are tightly controlled by the State. It’s a country where education is state-run and curricula are state-mandated. In a fully implemented Obama-nation, it would be illegal to pass the accumulation of one’s lifetime on to heirs. This is the America of Karl Marx’s dreams.
Barack Obama does not sound like an American because Obama’s heart and soul are not American in nature. His thoughts are not American. His attitude and philosophy are not American. He cannot speak from the heart about America because America does not reside there. With a Muslim upbringing, a radical family, radical mentor, a myriad of radical connections, radical advisors, a radical theology, and some say a radical spouse, it’s no wonder.
Obama’s agenda is informed by Marx and guided by years of close associations with extreme individuals and groups whose stated goals are the demise of America and America’s influence in the world. When he says he wants to “fundamentally transform America,” he is dead serious.

For the first time in all of American history, we are at the mercy of an un-American American President.

Rev. Manning, it appears that in 2004 and earlier, while Barack Hussein Obama was running for the U.S. Senate as the nominee of the Democratic Party in Illinois; Mr. Obama and his staff did not object to the print media dislosing that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya.

Apparently, Mr. Obama’s political ascent was so rapid and unanticipated that neither he nor his campaign staff gave any serious consideration to the U.S. constitutional requirements for a person to be President of the United States. It is beyond doubt, from the article below (link), and many other articles and publicized accounts from that time period, that Mr. Obama did not refute any media claims that he was born in Kenya. Now, by sleight-of-hand and hundreds of millions of dollars in the right places and pockets, Mr. Obama has been elected to the U.S. Presidency; despite the fact that the charter document for our republic, the US constitution disqualifies Mr. Obama from holding our highest elected office.

Most elected politicians try to ignore this as an “inconvient nuisance”, rather than an untenable situation which is repugnant to our constitution; which was written expressly to ensure that the United States is governed by the rule of law. Our constitution is “the supreme law of the land” and laws “repunant” to the constitution may be struck down by the Supreme Court under the principle of “judicial review”. Also, the Congress is empowered to impeach (or remove) a sitting President who is guilty of crimes or unable to govern. It is self evident that one who is ineligible to be President is guilty of the crime of fraud.

If Obama is not removed, we have lost the rule of law and political power is held by those who have it and can hold on to it, through whatever means necessary. If this usurper is not removed for being unconstitutional, we shall have no more claim to being a noble nation, where no individual is above the law.

Thank you for your continuing efforts to have this oppotunistic, self centered and vainglorious fraud removed because he is ineligible to hold the Presidency.

You are a source of hope for one who has become incresingly disaffected by modern churches; where loving God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spitit along with loving one’s neighbor as one’s self and serving our brothers and sisters is no longer the primary message.

One thing made Osama bin Laden public enemy #1. One thing made him a target for America’s hit squad. One thing – and only one thing – made his assassination justified and praised by world leaders. He didn’t just kill Jews.

Had he limited his terrorism to Jews only, he would not have been targeted. The same world leaders who today take great pride in his death would have celebrated his life. He would not have been killed by President Obama; he would have dined with him.

He would have been invited to the United Nations. He would have had a worldwide speaking tour. He would have won the Nobel peace prize.

Think I’m crazy? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the President of Iran. His resume includes much more than just politics. He and his Persian mentors ordered Hezbollah to bomb the Jewish Community of Argentina in the 90s and killed hundreds of Jews. He has stated – time and again – that he wants to destroy Israel. He wants to kill the 6,000,000 Jews (interesting number) who live here and he is feverishly working to build a bomb that will do just that.

Has he been targeted? Is this animal on anyone’s “hit list”? Actually, just the opposite is true. He recently spoke in the UN. He was a guest speaker in Columbia University. Why? Because he is only interested in killing Jews.

Khaled Mashaal is the leader of Hamas. Hamas is a sworn enemy of Israel. It has killed and maimed thousands of Jews since the “peace process” came about. It has fired over 5,000 missiles into Israel, aiming for Jewish homes and hoping to kill Jewish children.

Has he been targeted? Is this beast on anyone’s “hit list”? Actually, just the opposite is true. Russian President Vladimir Putin recently invited Mashaal to Moscow. Former US President Jimmy Carter has embraced Mashaal and considers him a “partner for peace”. Why? Because he is only interested in killing Jews.

Yasser Arafat was the leader of the PLO for almost four decades. He has more innocent blood on his hands than bin Laden. Yet this murderer was a guest at the Clinton White House more than any other world leader! He spoke in the UN. He was accepted around the world as a leader and spoke in over 30 countries. He won the Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because he was only interested in killing Jews. [And his successor Mahmoud Abbas is as much of a Jew-murderer as him.]

Although I can go on, I will give just one final example: Adolf Hitler. The world knew about his plans for the Jews as early as 1933. The world knew about Kristallnacht back in November of 1938, and of the concentration camps shortly thereafter. Yet the entire world called this monster “Herr” Hitler. They gave him respect. They recognized him as a leader. All that changed when Hitler invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. From that point on he became an enemy. Why? Because until that day he was only interested in killing Jews.

Osama bin Laden violated the golden rule: In addition to killing just Jews, he also killed non-Jews. That is why he was targeted and for no other reason!

The message to Jews – and the State of Israel – is very clear. Learn to defend yourself. Learn to take revenge yourself. The world will not help you with Iran, Hamas or the PLO/PA.

Ahmadinejad, Abbas & Mashaal will not make the same mistake as Bin Laden. They will continue to be accepted and embraced by the world. Understand this, accept this and deal with this.

“We have no one on whom to rely, other than our Father in Heaven”. May today’s Jewish leaders – and the brave warriors of the IDF – engrave this on their hearts. And may they – very soon – do to these terrorists exactly what was done to Bin Laden.
