None of our political leaders are discussing these root causes to the problems of our economy:

1. The percent of people between 40 and 55 years old is decreasing.

2. The purchase of foreign oil is draining 5% of our economy each year.

3. Manufacturing is decreasing as a percent of GDP.

The negative impact of each of these is documented in my book, Save America Now. Our politicians are not addressing these root causes to our economic problems. Instead, they are implementing programs that waste money with no results at creating jobs.

Representatives and Senators argue that the total population of the USA has increased, so the reduced birth rates of 1970 to 1985 should not be impacting our economy. Many of them state that the tremendous amount of immigration in the last 30 years should have corrected the decreased birth rates. They deliberately allowed immigration to replace the loss of births to our US citizens without telling us that they were doing it.

Their actions caused damage to our American culture and to our economy.

Why didn’t the politicians tell us that the low birth rate would harm America? Because it was politically incorrect. Feminists and intellectuals were pushing zero population growth.

So instead, the 3rd World countries kept multiplying while the white industrialized populations decreased as a percent of the total population. In just 50 years, the white population in the world, which is mostly in industrialized countries, decreased from one quarter of the total to less than 10% while the total population more than doubled. The white industrialized population stagnated while the rest of the world increased more than 100%. And that affects everything in the USA from less demand for products, to less Social Security revenue per retiree, to increased average healthcare costs per person, to less homeland security. All growth in the USA for the last 40 years is from immigration and its offspring.

The increased demand for housing from baby boomers drove the economy from the 1980s until 2007. 2007 is the same year that the average age of baby boomers pushed past 55 years old. And since those baby boomers did not have enough children to replace them, demand for housing is falling apart which is causing sales of furniture, appliances, etc. to also fall apart.

In addition, T Boone Pickens pointed out in 2008 that $700 Billion leaves the USA every year to purchase foreign oil. That is more than 5% of our annual GDP. Our energy needs are growing 40% in the next 10 years. So, even if the USA grows its use of alternative energy by 20 times in the next 10 years, it will not even cover the increased demand for energy. Therefore, alternative energy will certainly not make a dent in the $7 Trillion that will be spent on foreign oil in the next 10 years (1/2 of our total economy).

So why aren’t the politicians telling us the truth that even the most optimistic development of alternative energy sources will not make a dent in the outflow of capital from the USA for foreign oil? Why aren’t they telling us that the only way to stop the outflow of capital is to drill for more oil, build nuclear facilities, and mine for more coal while developing alternate energy sources? Because they are either traitors or they are stupid. You be the judge. Who benefits from the outflow of cash for oil? Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Mexico, Russia.

These politicians also know that conservation will not work. If the USA reduces consumption, that will also reduce production of goods which will reduce manufacturing jobs.

And just like with negative population growth and foreign oil purchases, the loss of manufacturing is killing the USA. As a percent of GDP, manufacturing has decreased an astounding 70% in the last 50 years.

These same politicians point out how services have replaced manufacturing. But how does replacing the manufacturing industry with a service industry help increase exports and reduce our trade deficit? Do they expect the USA to correct the trade deficit by trading CPA time, or legal advice, or teachers, or government employees for the goods that we now buy from foreign countries? Do they think that the tiny economic multiplier effect from services can replace the huge multiplier from the manufacturing supply chain in our economy?

So why aren’t politicians attacking the manufacturing problem? Because none of them want to offend their political bases by attacking the reasons why manufacturing is leaving the USA:

1. The USA only graduates ¼ of the engineers per capita as compared to Asia while having the highest cost per student in the world.

2. The taxes on manufacturing companies, especially when the taxes of the complete supply chain are considered, are astronomical as compared to other industrialized countries.

3. Labor costs are more than 2 times those in Asia, South America and parts of Europe.

4. The market in the USA is not growing as fast as in countries that do not practice zero population growth.

Instead of tackling the problems of a negative birth rate, foreign oil, and the loss of manufacturing; our government is imposing programs that harm us even more … like mandatory health “insurance,” cap and trade, the GM union bailout, pension fund bailouts, teacher bailouts, bank bailouts, abortion funding, alternative sex education, gay marriage, tax penalties on married people, more government employees, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. And all of these programs continue to harm our culture and our economy. They continue to reduce the intrinsic birth rate, increase our dependency on foreign oil, and chase manufacturing out of the country.

So why do politicians ignore these root causes? Because their political survival is more important to them than what is actually good for America. They pander to banks, unions, feminists, insurance companies, foreign governments, teachers, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc. who are the very ones who are killing our economy.

Time is running out. So, what are we going to do about it? Our Declaration of Independence states:

governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government,

Time is running out. The survival of the USA depends on instituting a new government this November that will address these three root causes. Otherwise, this great experiment called “America” could be finished.

The Pentagon is no more immune to political correctness than other institutions of government. But this is not a new phenomenon- the Pentagon responds to public perceptions and political pressure like any other governmental entity. Decorated Army officer, Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin invited his own court-martial, set for October 13-15, by asking President Obama to prove he is legally serving as Commander in Chief. He sought only to ensure that his military orders, including deployment to Afghanistan, were lawful.

But Army prosecutors have already argued that LTC Lakin, defending himself against criminal charges, has no right to evidence he needs at trial- i.e. evidence related to Obama’s original 1961 birth record. They claim the issue is political, in Army legal jargon, “nonjudiciable.” Why then do officers take an oath to support and defend the Constitution? And what about the chain of command- is there a break somewhere between servicemembers in uniform and their elected civilian leadership? Why did Obama address the subject of civilian control when General McChrystal was forced to resign? How can Army brass say, with a straight face, that the Commander in Chief’s legality (or lack thereof) has nothing to do with soldiers deploying to Afghanistan?

There have been other courts-martial in recent history which reflected poorly on the DoD and its civilian leadership. During World War II, the Japanese sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis constituted the greatest naval disaster during the war. The Navy had denied destroyer escort to the ship; the government had denied the Ultra intelligence to the commander that an enemy submarine was in the ship’s path– and the enormous loss of life from the Japanese torpedo was largely attributable not to the enemy attack, but to the Navy’s failure to track ships coming into port; therefore the missing warship went un-noticed—a pilot who spotted the oil slick was the only reason that survivors were rescued after 4 grueling days at sea.

What did the Pentagon do in response to this catastrophe?- it court-martialed the USS Indianapolis’ decorated commander, Captain Charles McVay—who had been trusted to deliver atomic bomb components to Tinian Island. The Captain was court-martialed for exercising the discretion the Navy gave him as a commander to zig-zag his ship (a submarine evasion maneuver)- he was accused of hazharding his ship by failing to zigzag. To add insult to injury, the Navy flew to the states the Japanese submarine commander to testify against Captain McVay. In 2002, the Congress belatedly exonerated this war hero- who had committed suicide later in his life, wearing his naval uniform with a memento from his crew.

In April, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, addressing an Air Force Academy audience at Colorado Springs about leadership and character, referenced two officers who faced courts-martial- Billy Mitchell, and Hap Arnold, both advocates for air power, but despite their visionary views, were subject to ridicule and contempt. SecDef Gates mentioned that Mitchell and Arnold “pressed ahead in the face of incredibly fierce institutional resistance” and noted that, “One of the reasons they were successful at championing their ideas is that they were always willing to speak truth to power.”

Many in uniform regularly demonstrate courage in combat–as one Marine fighter pilot described it, the kind of bravery that comes with the DNA- but moral courage is a different variety- it’s deciding to put yourself at risk when not confronting imminent danger or defending oneself—it is making a proactive, conscious decision to put yourself in harm’s way. This is the type of decision LTC Lakin made- one which could mean a sentence of four or more years at hard labor at Fort Leavenworth prison- and separation from family and loved ones- a duration of time longer than any American soldier would expect to serve overseas, even during wartime.

Today, LTC Lakin follows in that great tradition of which SecDef Gates spoke- of speaking truth to power. Military officers are all required to take an oath—not to the President and Commander in Chief- but to the U.S. Constitution. It is loyalty to the rule of law that is required of the officer- and officers are trained to learn the difference between a lawful v. an illegal order. LTC Lakin’s conscience dictated that he go public with his request to see President Obama’s original birth certificate after attempts to seek answers from within his chains of command and also through his Congressional delegation, failed to unearth the truth. He realized that no one wanted to confront the disturbing reality- that there is no evidence that the President/CINC, with responsibility over all the U.S. Armed Forces and the codes to the fearsome U.S. nuclear arsenal, is legally serving. Obama’s lawyers, at his directive, continue to conceal all records which would shed light on his citizenship and “natural born” status.

The media continues to downplay or ignore developments in the President’s Constitutional eligibility dispute– including acknowledgement by Hawaii elections official Tim Adams (his position as chief elections clerk during the 2008 election was confirmed by a State of Hawaii official) that Obama may not have been born in the Aloha State, as major print media and liberal pundits have insisted—and as claimed by Hawaii’s State Health Director. Mr. Adams publicly declared that everyone in his office knew Obama had no “long form” birth certificate- the type that candidate McCain produced- and which contains a doctor’s signature and hospital name. Yet a CNN poll in mid-July revealed that 6 out of 10 Americans aren’t certain where the President was born, a credit to the relentless probing and blogging by the “eligibility” movement– and networking through the internet. Similarly, the establishment media largely ignored a Missouri Senate candidate and veteran- Hector Maldonado- who was required to present his citizenship paperwork to the Secretary of State (or be withdrawn from the ballot). Maldonado learned that Obama, when he filed to run for another federal office (the Presidency) in Missouri, apparently was not required to meet the same standard of proof.

The birth certificate controversy clearly weighs on Obama’s mind- he continually raises it- at the national prayer breakfast earlier this year where he entwined it with the subject of his faith (perhaps hoping Americans may not remember that he can be any religion but must be “natural born” per the Constitution to be President) and again during an interview on August 29th with NBC’s Brian Williams, where he quipped (in a non sequitur since the question was largely about his faith): “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.”

Will LTC Lakin’s court-martial become a watershed moment? So far, the Congress, with a few notable exceptions, has shrunk from confronting this explosive issue. There would be a lot of blame to go around and a lot of scalps at risk- for letting a candidate accede to the’s nation’s highest office without proper vetting. But respected, high-ranking military officers are stepping up in defense of LTC Lakin- MG Paul Vallely, MG Jerry Curry and Lt GEN McInerney. These men recognize that facing court-martial for demanding proof that orders are lawful was an act of bravery and consistent with LTC Lakin’s oath to support and defend the Constitution. Soldiers trained and armed with weapons were given the enormous responsibility of being guardians not just of the nation, but of the Constitution. The Navy was reprimanded by Congress far too late to save the honor and reputation of Captain McVay; other heroes like Billy Mitchell never won the credit they deserved during their service years- but today, the Army needs to be warned against perpetrating a similar injustice against LTC Lakin. It would nice for a change to recognize heroic achievements when they happen- not years or decades later. With this court-martial, the Constitution and the rule of law hang in the balance.

Obama conspiracy – It’s no longer just a theory

A man who fails to register with SS before turning 26 may find that some doors are permanently closed

ARLINGTON, Va. – On Sept. 7, 2008, Barack Hussein Obama appeared on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” and stated, “I had to sign up for Selective Service (SS) when I graduated from high school … And I actually always thought of the military as an ennobling and, you know, honorable option. But keep in mind that I graduated in 1979. The Vietnam War had come to an end. We weren’t engaged in active military conflict at that point. And so, it’s not an option that I ever decided to pursue.”

Some people did keep in mind that he graduated in 1979 and noted the registration requirement was suspended in April 1975 by President Gerald Ford and wasn’t reinstituted until 1980 by President Jimmy Carter in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
The Military Selective Service Act required men born in the calendar year 1961 to register on any of the six days beginning Monday, July 28, 1980.

On Oct. 13, 2008, J. Stephen Coffman, a retired federal agent, filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the SS for a copy of Obama’s SS registration form.

Coffman’s FOIA request was processed on Oct. 29, 2008, two days after the SS claimed it was received.

Coffman received a copy of Obama’s registration form along with a copy of the computer inquiry screen, which showed an access date of Sept. 9, 2008, several weeks prior to Coffman’s request.

It was accompanied by a letter from Richard S. Flahavan, associate director for public affairs and intergovernmental affairs, who stated, “Also, the enclosed computer inquiry screen indicates that his registration number is 61-1125539-1, as previously provided to you.”

The computer printout shows a transaction date of Sept. 4, 1980 (the date Obama’s July 29, 1980 registration was entered into the system) with a last action date of Sept. 4, 1980, signifying nothing else had been received or entered since the original Sept. 4, 1980 registration form.

Coffman found it peculiar his request, according to the computer printout date, was processed on Sept. 9, 2008, several weeks prior to submitting his request.

On Feb. 9, 2009, Kenneth Allen submitted a FOIA request for the same records. He received a response, also from Flavahan, dated March 4, 2009.

Flavahan said a copy of Obama’s SS registration was enclosed along with “the resultant automated file screen,” adding, “Mr. Obama did indeed register with the Selective Service and was assigned Selective Service Number 61-1125539-1 on Sept. 4, 1980.”

The 10-digit Document Locator Number (DLN) 0897080632 is printed or stamped across the top right hand corner of the registration form.

The computer printout provided to Coffman displayed an 11-digit DLN of 8089 708 0632.
The computer printouts provided to both Allen and Coffman are both dated Sept. 9, 2008.
The copy of the registration form provided to Allen and Coffman are identical.

However, Allen’s computer printout is titled “Registrant File Inquiry Report” while Coffman’s is titled “RIMS History Inquiry Screen.”

And, the DLN on the computer printout received by Allen, also an 11-digit number, reads: 0897 080 6320.

So, while Coffman’s printout had an eight added to the beginning, Allen’s had a zero added to the end.

Once issued, DLNs do not change.

Even though the inquiry screen indicates Allen’s request was processed on Sept. 9, 2008, just like Coffman’s, it reflects a last action date of June 25, 1991, showing a Form 50 change letter had been received and entered then. Records provided to Coffman reflected no such action.

The post office round date stamp on Obama’s registration form also raised legitimacy concerns. The stamp displays “USPO Honolulu, HI Makiki Sta.” with “Jul 29 80” stamped in the center of the circle on three lines. However, the two-digit year is stamped off center as if it should have been a four-digit date.

Last week Sonoran News received a response to a FOIA request for 17 SS records for the purpose of making comparisons.

Every single one of them has a four-digit year stamp, including two registrations processed at the very same post office, one within days of Obama’s.

In fact, Bruce Henderson, now deceased, whose birthday was also in August 1961, registered on Aug. 2, 1980 at the Makiki station and his SS number is 61-1125522-7, just 27 numbers apart from Obama’s.

The 10-digit DLN on his registration form reads: 0897080613 and the 11-digit DLN on the computer printout reads: 0897 080 6130, indicating a zero had been added to the end.

Henderson’s registration was also entered in the same batch as Obama’s on Sept. 4, 1980.
Our FOIA request was initially made in October 2009, but after receiving neither a response nor an acknowledgement, a subsequent request was made in December 2009 via certified mail, the receipt of which was promptly acknowledged.

The request was fulfilled by Paula Sweeney from the office of public and intergovernmental affairs and the computer printouts are dated Jan. 15, 2010 and Jan. 20, 2010.

Every single one of the registrations processed in 1980 had a zero added to the end of the DLN on the computer printout, a practice that appears to have changed subsequent to that time.

In fact, a registration dated March 1, 1982 with a 10-digit DLN of 2120360884 stamped on the registration form, has an 11-digit DLN of 8212 036 0884 entered in the computer, which appears to be consistent with registrations added after 1980, and possibly not until 1982.

It became obvious records were created after the fact for Obama and were later changed. However, the computer access date is frozen on Sept. 9, 2008; two days after Obama appeared on Stephanopoulos’ show saying he registered with SS in 1979 when the requirement was nonexistent.

The mistakes made by adding to and changing the fraudulently created record after Coffman’s FOIA request was fulfilled but before the Allen’s was received, provides an audit trail of the fraud.

It would appear Flahavan, who processed both requests, should have caught the glaring incongruities. Instead, he got cocky in his letter to Allen by proclaiming, “Mr. Obama did indeed register with Selective Service …”

The SS website proclaims, “Registration is the law. A man who fails to register may, if prosecuted and convicted, face a fine of up to $250,000 and/or a prison term of up to five years.”

It goes on to say, “Even if not tried, a man who fails to register with Selective Service before turning age 26 may find that some doors are permanently closed,” including federal student loans or grant programs.

A man must be registered to be eligible for jobs in the executive branch of the federal government, which includes president of the United States.

Registration is also a condition for U.S. citizenship if the man first arrived in the United States before his 26th birthday.

If Obama arrived in Hawaii as a citizen of Indonesia, as his school records and mother’s divorce records indicate, and he didn’t register with SS, he could have been barred from obtaining U.S. citizenship and may not be one now.

However, those covering up Obama’s tracks have done a sloppy job, which means there really is a conspiracy to defraud the American people, not just a theory.
