Like the Native Americans (Indians), so to African Americans are headed for extinction. As the Native Americans did not survive the culture of the European settlers, it is becoming evident that the transplanted Africans are not surviving in the New World. Pres. James Monroe sought to repatriate the Africans, and there will arise again another who will seek to send African Americans to a homeland.
