Our Love and Service in this Community

“To God Belongs the Glory”
1. During the Crack epidemic of the late 70’s and early 80’s, we ministered without discrimination housing, shelter, clothing, and over 1 million meals through our Food Service from the 80’s to the year 2005.
2. We have baptized more than 1000 souls into the Kingdom of God in this building – 38 West 123rd Street, ATLAH, New York 10027.
3. We have purchased, paid for in full, this beautiful property originally built as the Harvard Club in 1879. We have invested more than $1.5 million in repairs and upkeep over the past 10 years.
4. We operate 3 schools all year long, inspired to do so after the police department found a 12-year old girl living in a Crack infested room with her Crack addicted mother and mother’s boyfriend right here on 123rd Street. We reached out and started educating the children of this community. (Elementary, middle school, and high school).
5. When big banks and deep pocketed businesses began land grabbing this community under the cover of gentrification, we led a 3 ½ year protest to protect the poor people who have lived here for years, but were now being priced out by greedy developers and sell-out politicians.
6. When the Democratic Party introduced Obama to be the Black or African American standard bearer and the first Black President, we fiercely rejected that falsehood.
Obama has since pushed Rep. Charles Rangel out of his powerful seat as Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. He, Obama, told Gov. Patterson not to seek to be elected on his own for the office of the First Black Governor of the state of New York.
When Bill Thompson sought to become the 2nd Black Mayor of New York City, Obama blatantly refused to endorse him.
We oppose Obama, who we all now see his hypocrisy. He has done nothing for Harlem or Blacks nationwide.
7. We love all people and are the only church in this community who has had white members in large numbers for years. We preach biblical truths, not Black people’s racism. “We judge men by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
