Hillary Clinton was on the FOX Chris Wallace Show on Sunday, November 21, 2010.
Chris asked Clinton about ratification for the New Start treaty that is in front of the Senate and he asked her about running for President in 2012 or 2016.
Her answers to both of those questions were interesting.
About the New START treaty:
Clinton wants the Senate to ratify it in short order without debate. To get quick ratification, 9 Republicans need to join the Democrats. John Kyl, Senator from Arizona, wants this to wait until the new Senate is sworn into office in 45 days to allow for adequate inspection and debate. Chris Wallace did not pursue her about why the Republicans are not joining the Democrats if the bill is so good for America. Wallace failed in his job as a journalist as he did not ask about the parts of the treaty that would harm American interests or supersede our US Constitution.
Does this treaty include a line item that allows for outlawing certain gun ownership by citizens? Or does it mandate anything else that conflicts with laws in America?
Americans got burned by not understanding the small line items in the health “insurance” legislation.
Liberals have been trying to get our Second Amendment in our Bill of Rights nullified by use of foreign treaties for a long time. If 2/3 of the Senate ratifies a treaty and anti gun wording is in that treaty or if there is wording about some other subject that harms American rights, then that treaty would supersede our own Constitution and laws.
Since the Supreme Court just ruled in favor of gun ownership as defined in the Second Amendment in the Constitution, the liberals are trying to use the treaty process in the Constitution to discard the Second Amendment. They are trying to do the same thing about abortion so abortion cannot ever be repealed because of a treaty. And they are trying to codify healthcare “insurance” in the USA by use of the foreign treaty process.
Look at these other treaties that Clinton is supporting: the Parental Rights treaty and the UN Small Arms guns treaty.
It is obvious that Clinton is using the treaty process to supersede our own Constitution. She cannot be trusted. All of these treaties need vetting. After watching how healthcare “insurance” was handled, everything done by Democrats needs vetting. Obama’s “natural born” citizenship still needs vetting.
So why did Chris Wallace fail to pursue Clinton about why Republicans are not endorsing this and other treaties? Why didn’t he question her about the details in this and other treaties?
About Hillary for president:
Many political pundits already think that Obama will not run for a second term. The administration is already trying to prepare the electorate by leaking stories about stress to his family, about how Michelle hates being 1st Lady, and about Obama’s health.
In reality, Obama’s citizenship will be an issue in 2012. Several states are already legislating how candidates must adhere to their definitions of proof of “natural born” citizenship and that Obama will not qualify as long as he keeps his long form birth certificate, his college documents, and his passports sealed. No one vetted those items in 2008.
Since Democrats suffered such huge losses in 2010 because of Obama’ low approval rating and his policies, many Democrats do not want more losses on the coat tails of Obama in 2012. The Democrats will have 21 Senators up for reelection in 2012, and then Republicans could control the Senate by only winning 3 of them. The Democrats just lost 6 of 18 in this 2010 election, so loss of 3 of 21 is very possible. Senators like Jim Webb are very worried.
So what was Hillary’s answer about running for president? She said that she does not plan to “pursue” running for any elected office. Was she parsing? So if the Democrat party “pursues” her, will she run?
Wallace did not “pursue” either of these issues adequately. What is wrong with him? Did he go over to the dark side? Is he looking for a job on NBC, MSNBC, or PBS/NPR? Has Soros gotten to him also? Or is he secretly in love with Hillary for 2012?
