Good morning all.
I wish you and your families a safe, healthy, and Blessed Christmas and 2010. Right now I know many are not happy with the radical changes in our Country today. Here are my personal thoughts “Jesus is the reason for the season” and we should let Nothing take our eyes off that fact. The Lord Almighty spoke and created earth and mankind. No one has every had to put the fallen, sun, moon, or stars back up into the sky? If the almighty Lord can do all of this, HE certainly is in control of what is going on in Our Great Country. We Will never understand everything that happens in our lifetime but that is why it is called faith. Yesterday we had over 1,500 police officers, fire fighters, and EMT’s bury one of our State Troopers, who was 26 on the force 2 years had a wife and 4 young beautiful babies. We will never understand why he was taken away so early in his life but we do find comfort in knowing “he ran and finished the good race”.
Do not start to fear that the debacle we are in will not be corrected, if we do we are giving up some of our faith in the Lord. The Lord hears our prayers, knows our needs, and always shows up. He may not show up when you or I may want him to “but he is never late”.
I ask all to put what is going on aside and let’s celebrate the Lord’s birth with your family, remember today is not guaranteed for any of us. Of course keep the prayers going amd read and meditate on John 3:16.
