A billboard ad posted in the Soho section of NYC was recently taken down due to controversy. Many local politicians like Al Sharpton threaten to protest if it wasn’t taken down. The billboard showed a picture of a 6 year old black girl and above her head it read, "The Most Dangerous Place for an African American is in the Womb."

I commend the agency who put this sign up because people need to know how abortion affects the black community. It is a shame that the ad company took down the billboard due to the backlash.
African Americans only make up 24% of the New York City population yet black women make up about 45% of abortions according to Crain New York Business. Black women need to know that abortions are destroying generations and at this rate the black race will be extinct.
I believe a shocking statistic calls for a shocking message. It is sad when black leaders, liberals and pro-choice people get upset when a message they don’t agree with is true. There is nothing racist about telling a group of people "You are Dying."People don’t want to hear the truth even if it will save their lives. These politicians don’t care about black people all they care about are their interests. Unfortunately, these people make millions of dollars from abortions and the black community is their biggest customer. It needs to stop. Abortion is murder.
Many argue that women should have the right to choose what they want to do with their bodies but what are they choosing to do.
The battle between pro-life and pro-choice should be called Pro-Choice vs. Pro Death because if you don’t choose life you are choosing death. It’s as simple as that.
Women don’t have the right to terminate the life of an unborn child. It states in God’s word, “Thou shalt not kill” and that goes for the unborn also. The word of God gives me the authority to tell women to keep their child.
I am not naive. I know that some women have abortions as the result of a rape but these cases only make up a small percentage. To look at a child conceived from a rape can be a difficult thing however terminating the pregnancy is only adding fuel to the fire. You never know how that child will grow up and affect the world. Maybe he or she will find the cure for Cancer or AIDS. The child deserves a chance at life. Putting up a child up for adoption is also an option. Believe me I know it is hard raising children. I have three and another on the way but because of my faith and trust in the Lord, I have been able to raise them thus far.
Finally, the only way to bring down the abortion rate is abstinence until marriage. This is not preached in this modern day and time. We have a God given vision called ATLAH that calls for men to be leaders in the home, church and community. These men need to be righteous, married to their wives and raising their children all under the same roof. Once you have fathers telling their sons to respect young women and their daughters to keep their legs closed until marriage, we won’t need a billboard ad telling people how dangerous the black womb is. Unfortunately, we have not arrived at this, so until then I say put the billboard back up.
