The most damning evidence in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial was not the victim’s testimony or statements by five other women who said he had also assaulted them, a juror said on Monday. It was Mr. Cosby’s own comments.
The juror, Harrison Snyder, said that Mr. Cosby’s remarks in a 2005 deposition — saying that he had given sedatives to women he wanted to have sex with — proved that he was guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania home 14 years ago. That deposition was for a lawsuit filed by Ms. Constand, who had alleged he gave her three blue pills before assaulting her.
