Did you watch any of the Democrat National Convention? Did you watch Bill Clinton speak? How about Barrack Hussein Obama? Did you watch the debate about including God in the Democrat platform?
What do the debate about God, Clinton’s speech, and Obama have in common?
It was obvious to anyone who was watching that the Democrats on the floor of the convention voted to exclude God as part of the platform. After three unsuccessful attempts to get God into the platform, the moderator ignored the votes and jammed it through anyway.
It was obvious to anyone who was watching that Barrack Hussein Obama still blames Bush for all of his problems. He claimed that the economy was much worse than he imagined and that he deserved 4 more years to fix it. He still refuses to acknowledge that the economy was great; unemployment was only 4.6% until Democrats took control of the House and Senate in 2007.
It was obvious to anyone who was watching that Bill Clinton took many liberties in his interpretation of history. For example, he claimed that 3 times more jobs were created under Democrat presidents than under Republican presidents and that the most jobs were created during his administration. While he acknowledged that the economy was in trouble during his first 2 years, he failed to mention that Democrats controlled the House and the Senate during those first 2 economic bad years and that the Gingrich Republicans controlled all of Congress for those 6 growth years of the economy of his administration.
Bill claimed that Obama deserves to be re-elected because the economy is headed in the right direction.
It was obvious to anyone who was watching that Clinton and Obama ignored Obama’s failure to achieve his promises and that they tried to reframe the debate about how no president could have fixed the economy in 4 years.
But Obama did not promise to fix the economy. He promised to cut the deficit in half and to keep unemployment under 8%. Unemployment has averaged 9.2% and the deficit increased a trillion dollars per year during his administration.
Maybe the economy could not have been fixed in 4 years, but the issue is that Obama failed to keep his promises to keep unemployment under 8% and cut the deficit in half.
And yet, Chris Matthews said that the Bill Clinton speech was a most powerful speech that will go down in history as being the one thing that gets Obama re-elected and that Obama gave a speech that Republicans cannot defend against. Did those speeches give Chris another tingling up his leg? That tingling seems to be affecting his brain.
Well, the jobs report came out this morning, Sept 7, for August, 2012. The White House is celebrating that the unemployment rate decreased to 8.1% from 8.3%. Bill Clinton and Barrack Hussein Obama claim that the economy is headed in the right direction … but that is not the real story.
First of all, the Labor Department works for the president. So its numbers must be scrutinized. The president knew the numbers from the Labor Department for August before his speech at the convention. And for the 45th straight month, the Labor Department revised its calculation of created jobs downward for the previous month, July, … by 41,000 jobs.
The White House economists leaked earlier this week that 200,000 net new jobs were expected for August and that unemployment would fall to 8.1%. Approximately 175,000 net new people join the labor force each month. So at least 175,000 net new jobs are needed per month to hold the unemployment rate steady … which would not be enough to decrease the unemployment rate. Instead, only 96,000 net new jobs were created and 41,000 jobs were subtracted from the previous month for a net increase of only 55,000 adjusted net new jobs for the last 2 months. So wouldn’t you have expected the unemployment rate to increase?
How did the unemployment rate decrease? Because the Labor Department removed 368,000 people from the labor pool of those who are available for work.
What is even worse is that the Labor Department reduced the labor pool to only 63% of people who are over 25 years old. Only 58% of people over 25 are working. Those are the lowest percents of people in the labor pool and the working percentage since 1941. If the same number of people are included in the labor pool as Obama inherited in January, 2009, then the unemployment rate is over 11%.
Bill Clinton and Barrack Hussein Obama are trying to deceive America… again.
What makes this even worse is that only 3,000 of the 96,000 jobs that were created in August were in manufacturing. All the rest were low paying service jobs. Therefore, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Missouri, and Pennsylvania are all still in economic trouble.
Bill Clinton and Barrack Hussein Obama can try to deceive America with their slick tongues but the truth is that this administration is an economic failure. The truth is that the last 6 years of the Clinton economy did so well because the Republican controlled Congress kept him honest. The truth is that the Democrat controlled Congress for the last 2 years of Bush caused this economic problem for the USA.
The truth is that the Democrat party is anti-God which is affecting everything in America … including this slowest economic recovery since 1941.
